WHY USE NORMA LEWIS DOMESTIC STAFF?
Norma Lewis Domestic Staff Agency offers a bespoke service, and specialises in placing Household and Family staff such as nannies, mothers' helps, housekeepers and companions to Families in Central London and London suburbs.
My Agency belongs to ANA (the Association of Nanny Agencies www.anauk.org ) and is listed in the Good Nanny Agency Guide, (www.nanny-nanny.co.uk), so you can be sure that I give you a proven, fully accountable level of Service, and can show that I work in a professional, honest and ethical way.
Of course you have a choice - do you think it better to go "the cheap route", or are you happy to pay for the reassurance of using one of the best value bespoke services from an expert recruitment Consultant with more than 13 years experience?
When a Client calls, my first question is "How can I help you?” – because I find that every Client needs and wants help in different ways.
I am a personally owned and run Agency, and offer a bespoke service to my Clients – unlike many other Agencies, I choose not to carry files of hundreds of applicants on my books.
There can be dozens of applicants who are able to carry out the actual duties you require, but I always find it better to take the time to talk to my Client Families in depth, and find out what type of person and personality is wanted to suit their household.
I work as an Employment Consultant, and carefully source the applicants you require.
(Not every applicant who applies will be invited to register with my Agency - strict criteria apply.Please do read "Information for Applicants" to see those criteria.)
Quite simply, my job is to be selective, and find the person who fits with you, your home, and your job requirements - to provide you with a " bespoke and personal domestic recuitment service."
FEES, CHARGES, AND DISCOUNTS
The way that I work suits discerning Families who are short of time, and who appreciate the personal service of a Consultant such as myself, and would naturally expect to pay for such a service.
Although my fees are in any case considerably less expensive than those charged by many Agencies, I can offer you a 10% discount on a permanent placement fee in return for a sole Agency Agreement for a set period of time.*
Clients who return to my Agency to use my Service, and whom again sign up for the Sole Agency agreement, will be given a 15% discount on permanent placement Fees.*

However, no one in today's world can afford to work for nothing, and I am no exception. In some instances I therefore charge an administration fee. (See Terms 4.11)
HOW DO I WORK?
1) I place ads on your behalf. These ads are at my expense not yours, and with my details, not yours - your confidential details remain exactly that.... confidential!
2) I save your time – I take all the calls, filter through the responses, make appointments, and interview selected applicants in person, before putting forward to you only those who match your specified requirements.
3.) All applicants from Norma Lewis Domestic Staff Agency hold ID documents, proof of addresses, and verified UK references.
4) There is currently no provision for a private individual to gain direct access to criminal record information in respect of a person that they might employ either as a Nanny, or to help look after a vulnerable adult. As your Agency, I can apply for these CRBs on your behalf.
5) If you wish, I can also provide you with suggestions for the type of questions that you may like to ask during the interview, and give guidance on appropriate salary levels.
6) As an ANA member, when you employ a permanent Applicant from my Agency, I can provide you with a sample generic contract, plus disciplinary and grievance procedures.
7) I can provide you with the names and details for domestic payroll companies, who can deal with your new payroll and tax liabilities.
8) I give you a guarantee! I provide a guarantee period of 10 weeks, and during that time, in the unlikely event that a placement is not successful, I will offer you a free replacement. (Subject to Terms, see Clauses 7.1-7.4)

9.30 am - 7pm Monday to Thursday
9.30 am - 6pm Friday
At other times, my Answer phone is always on, and if you have an emergency, I would always do my best to help you if I can.
ARE YOUR CONFIDENTIAL DETAILS SAFE?
Safe sites, secure electronic data, shredded information - all part of the security you have when using my Domestic Staff Agency, as I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. I therefore comply with legislation covering Data Protection, and both the storage and disposal of confidential information (in both electronic and paper format) on Applicants and Client Families.

CT - a lovely Portuguese girl who has worked for more than 7 years in the UK, is looking for a live out position as a House keeper / Cook or House keeper/ Cook / Nanny.
Her last position (3 1/2 yrs) was in Hadley Green, Barnet, where she maintained the inside of a 6 bed / 5 bath house, and helped look after 5 children, regularly collecting them from school (in her own car).
(Another housekeeper was responsible for the patio / pool and pool room/ cooking etc)
CT lives in Hatfield, and is a driver / car owner, and will travel a reasonable distance for a good position.
