Who am I , and where are my clients?
When a Client calls, my first question is “How can I help you?” – because every Client needs and wants help in different ways!
However, what everyone has in common is that:
1) You all want to feel that your child (or person who needs looking after) is secure and happy in the hands of someone who not only has been thoroughly interviewed, and who has had proper ID and reference checks, but who fits in well with your Family environment, and home.
2) Your Home is safe!
Norma Lewis Domestic Staff Agency is a personally owned and run Agency, and I provide a professional, caring and friendly service to both Applicants and Clients, always aiming to go that extra mile to help you.

My Client Families live within both inner and outer London suburbs of London and surrounding areas such as:
Inner london Suburbs - including Finchley, Swiss Cottage, St John’s Wood, Maida Vale (Westminster)
Central London,- including Chelsea, Kensington, and Knightsbridge.
Outerlondon Suburbs including Stanmore,Edgware, Kenton, Harrow (Middlesex), Mill Hill, Hendon, Golders Green, Hampstead and Hampstead Garden Suburb, (Barnet, Camden ) Bushey, Watford ,Radlett, St Albans, Elstree and Borehamwood (Hertfordshire).

This shows you a proven, fully accountable level of Service, and that I work in a professional, honest and ethical way. 2) At the moment, there is no provision for parents to gain direct access to criminal record information in respect of a person that they might privately employ either as a Nanny, any job involving childcare, or as a Domiciliary care person.
As your Agency, I can apply (but not pay!) for these CRB's for you.
3.) All applicants from Norma Lewis Domestic Staff Agency hold ID documents and references which are fully translated (if applicable) and verified by us. Additionally many also hold Police Check Certificates.
4.) I place ads on your behalf. These ads are at my expense not yours, and with my details, not yours - your confidential details remain exactly that.... confidential!
5.) I save your time – I filter and select applicants for you - it is me that takes calls, makes appointments, and interviews the applicants (if applicable) on your behalf, before putting forward suitable people to you.
6.) When finding you an Au Pair, I liaise with dozens of Overseas Agents, who interview our Applicants, take up and verify references, and translate documents.
(Please think twice before considering using one of the cheap or free websites set up to source Nannies, House Keepers, Au Pairs and other forms of childcare, unless you have the ability to check and translate all documents that should be obtained before inviting a person into your home to live with you, and entrusting your children into their care.)When your Au Pair arrives, I have links with many Language Schools and Colleges, in all different areas, and can help your Au Pair enrol. BAPAA Au Pairs and Families have access to a 24 hour Helpline for real emergencies. There are also other perks as a result of using a BAPAA Agency, including discounted tickets to some of the top UK attractions.
7.) I give you a guarantee! Of course we all know that with the best will in the world, an occasional mis -match is made, or an Applicant can turn out to be not as good as we both thought. For a stay of between 4 and 6 weeks, depending on the Category of Applicant, I will offer you a free replacement, or a Refund minus an admin fee. When can you call my Agency?
9.30 am - 7pm Monday to Thursday
9.30 am - 6pm Friday
Saturday - by arrangement
At all other times,my Answer phone is always on, and if you have an emergency, I would always do my best to help you!
Are your confidential details safe?
Safe sites, secure electronic data, shredded information - all part of the security you have when using my Domestic Staff Agency , as I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. I therefore comply with legislation covering Data Protection, and both the storage and disposal of confidential information (in both electronic and paper format) on Applicants and Client Families.

KK. NANNY This happy and friendly Polish girl speaks fluent English and has many years of experience (within the UK and in Poland) in looking after babies and young children. K has a proven level of responsibility, having had sole charge of children ranging in age from 18months to 12 years old. K is also happy to do some Housework as part of her role. She holds wonderful references, and one of her referees states “ she took care of the kids as a mother would, never complaining and always smiling and laughing. She was a joy to have in the house”.
She is looking for a salary of £8+ per hour net, live out.
