Norma Lewis Domestic Staff Agency is based in a North West London Suburb.
Our Client Families live within suburbs of London and surrounding areas such as:
Bushey, Watford ,Radlett, St Albans, Elstree and Borehamwood (Hertfordshire),
Stanmore, Kenton, Harrow (Middlesex),
Edgware, Mill Hill, Hendon, Golders Green, Hampstead and Hampstead Garden Suburb, (Barnet, Camden, and North West London),
Central London itself, including Swiss Cottage, St John’s Wood, Chelsea, Kensington, and Knightsbridge. (Westminster)

- I place ads on your behalf. These ads are at my expense not yours, and with my details, not yours - your confidential details remain exactly that.... confidential!
- I save your time – I filter and select applicants for you - it is me that takes calls, makes appointments, and interviews the applicants (if applicable) on your behalf, before putting forward suitable people to you. If I don't have a suitable Applicant - I tell you!
- I liaise with dozens of Agents Overseas, who interview our Applicants, take up and verify references, and translate documents.
(Please think twice before considering using one of the cheap or free websites set up to source Nannies, House Keepers, Au Pairs and other forms of childcare,unless you have the ability to check and translate all documents that should be obtained before inviting a person into your home to live with you, and entrusting your children into their care.) - All applicants from Norma Lewis Domestic Staff Agency hold references which are fully translated (if applicable) and verified by us. Many also hold Police Check Certificates, and or CRB checks. I can also apply on your behalf (but not pay!) for CRB documents for the Applicant. We also obtain all ID documents.
- I give you a guarantee! Of course we all know that with the best will in the world, an occasional mis -match is made, or an Applicant can turn out to be not as good as we both thought. For a stay of between 4 and 6 weeks, depending on the Category of Applicant, I will offer you a free replacement, or a Refund minus an admin fee. (Subject to Terms and conditions, please see relevant section on this website).
- I have links with many Language Schools and Colleges, in all different areas, and can help your Au Pair enrol.
When can you call my Domestic Staff Agency?
9.30 am - 7pm Monday to Thursday
9.30 am - 6pm Friday
Saturday - by arrangement
At all other times,my Answer phone is always on, and if you have an emergency, I would always do my best to help you!
Are your confidential details safe?
Safe sites, secure electronic data, shredded information - all part of the security you have when using my Domestic Staff Agency , as I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. I therefore comply with legislation covering Data Protection, and both the storage and disposal of confidential information (in both electronic and paper format) on Applicants and Client Families.

HOUSE KEEPERS
MR – a 40 year old lady, originally from the Phillipines, but as she now holds a British passport, she is free to travel worldwide with a Family. She worked for 1 year with a family in North West London as a House keeper/ Nanny, and was responsible for the upkeep of a 4 Bedroom/ 4 Bathroom Home, and sole charge of an 18 month old Baby. She also cooked for the family, and knows about Kosher Food. Prior to this she was employed by a Family for 6 years as a House Keeper / nanny / Carer. She ran the Family Home, looked after the Children, and also the Mother who was wheelchair Bound.
MR has 2 grown up Boys in the Phillipines, and by nature is happy and smiling.
Unsurprisingly she holds wonderful references, (verified) .
MR is a Professional House keeper / Nanny, and is looking for a salary in the region of £350 per week net.
She is available for work Immediately
MimR
MimR is a Filipina with a Domestic Working Visa.
She is 40 years old, and has 2 of her own children, plus 3 adopted, in the Phillipines.
She worked for the last 2 ½ years for a religious Jewish family in NW London, who have given her a glowing reference, describing her as “an outstanding help.” With this Family she cooks, cleans, irons, and has sole charge of the Children – one of them since Birth. The referee says “She is kind and gentle with our children, with whom she has formed a strong Bond.”
Prior to this, she worked 5years for a Family in Singapore, again as a House Keeper / Cook / Nanny, running a 4 storey Home with 6bedrooms, 5 Bathrooms + Guest Accommodation. She also cared for 3 children, aged 7, 5 and 1 ½ years at the time of joining the Family.
Mim R studied Paediatric First Aid in the UK, and holds a Cooking Certificate from Singapore.
Mim R is available for Interviews by arrangement, and can leave her present Family after 1 week’s Notice.
